A morning of messy, creative fun!
Ditch the devices and the stresses of daily life, for a couple of hours, to re-connect with yourself, your kids and (new) friends through exploring art in nature.
Join Phone Free Family and, local artist and illustrator Sophie Martin, for a relaxed nature inspired art session using natural objects and experimenting with different art materials.
We plan to be out in nature for part of the session, if the weather allows, so come prepared to be outdoors and to get messy!
๐๏ธ๐ป About the Artist ๐๏ธ๐ป
Sophie Martin is a local artist, illustrator and educator whose inspiration comes from the world around her. She studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and has worked since as a freelance artist and illustrator. Sophie enjoys experimenting with a variety of different artistic mediums and is always looking for new techniques to try out and share in her creative classes. She has a PGCE in Post compulsory education and has experience running creative workshops in many places including Primary and Secondary schools, the Brewery Arts Centre, colleges, adult education centres and for refugee groups in India and Nepal. www.sophiemartinillustration.co.uk
